Bakery has been a family business for approximately 63
years. Having formally been situated at Witheridge in
North Devon, where it was run by Mr & Mrs Reed Snr.
Paul and Wendy, it has now relocated at the Chivenor
Business Park. |

Primarily
a Retail Business, Paul and Wendy now focus on providing
a wholesale business supplying shops, restaurants and
Holiday Parks within the local area. Using the recipes
which have been in the family and perfected over the
years, the Genoa, Dark and Sultana Slab Cakes have a
unique taste which cannot be extracted from modern
compound mixes. |

The
large Slab Cakes in particular are often used by
caterers at large events such as the Devon County Show.
Anyone longing for that Traditional taste may well like
to try our extensive cake selection. Some of the local
shops stocking these products include 'Mole Valley
Farmers' at South Molton, 'Brian Fords' at Barnstaple,
'T&E Reeds' and 'Cawthorns Food Market' both in
Braunton. |
